What happened?

Did someone turn the power off and forget to switch it back on over Xmas?
We look at them, they look through them.

Was a bit strange.  Can we get an update from the admin team?

Some of us moved over to the other forum but feelings were a bit mixed from our mad rush of  invasion.  ;D

All I know is it caused me to spend some of my time lurking on that other nonsense of a forum and other than 8 weekly joining  getting a thread locked and almost  banned all before his forth post  it was like watching paint dry.
Dazmond Bucket also joined and went straight into bragging about his hot water system poles and van. lol
So very very  glad to see this place  back up and running.

Hi Guys,

We can't apologise enough for this issue over the Christmas period, certain files were changed by unknown sources causing severe downtime. The issue is now resolved and measures put in place to stop this happening again. It typically happened over the Christmas period when the IT team were on leave, hence the delay in resolving this issue.

Apologies again for the inconvenience caused here.

Clean It Up Team.

Was any of our login details or personal info compromised?

Guessing a fair few would have died from the withdrawal symptoms.

No not at all, the database was not compromised at all and all passwords and sensitive data are held  on a separate secure database, we don't even have access to this ourselves. This was purely to do with a forum update issue that has now been resolved.

Apologies for the upset and fear of data breach this may have caused - no personal data or passwords have been compromised please rest assured on this.

It’s been nice spending Xmas with family for the first time in years 😂

This is what worries me with all these cloud based databases.   Imagine the stress of loosing it all if it goes down in the same way.  Bound to happen one day.
