http://www.ultimatewasher.com/hose-pressure-loss.htmThis seems reasonable.
I see a reduction in flow/pressure at extended hose lengths but I push it.
Up to around 100 metres it doesn't make a noticeable difference - I measure this not in a loss of flow/pressure but in a slow down on how fast I can work.
From 100 - 150 metres you start noticing the difference, above 150 metres an obvious difference, if your using a FSC I would need to go over it twice at least.
On larger commercial there is often no choice than to use these hose lengths, working all the way around a supermarket fire escape walkway, with a standard gated access you cannot get the machine any closer so the hose has to do the work
9 times out of 10 though you can use the supply hose to tank to reduce the amount of HP hose you need, whatever set up you use.
Just done a TK Maxx and a couple of other storefronts in Banbury. From fire hydrant/wash out - 130 metres - HP about the same.
Thank god for the FH. The ice rink left on the carpark was another story at minus 5.
Good luck
