In two words - a nightmare.
We started him 3 weeks ago on £10 a day for a month to see how he gets on.
Now he wants £15 a day even though he is slowing us all down.
Today I found myself going around after him and doing the things we were intending him to do as he does them soooo slow.
Still, he is 17 and a sociable kid and is amenable. Maybe there is hope. We havn't let him loose working alone and he seems sensible and is polite to customers unlike the last kid who was all attitude and who I often wanted to thump.
What is so just complex about wiping around the frames and the sills? It's a simple enough request.
What we done this time for this kid was to buy him all his own equipment - mop, BOAB, squeegie etc. Seems to make a difference.
There is hope for this one.
Dave
I am suprised i have not been sacked off any jobs through it yet.
I know that feeling so well. Sometimes..... best not go there....
