I think one of the things to do to keep up to date is not to take on the plethora of walk ups where they want a regular clean....but the actually want to screw you over and get a cheap one off

That is all

Mr B
If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

I do the same with regard new customers asking prior to Xmas, fob them off until new year, making sure regular customers come first.  Come January is when you find out if the new ones were genuine or not  ;D

Aiming to be break up on Friday next week and taking two whole weeks off.   Might go back on the last Friday to ease back into it.

How do the employers work it for time off, do you tell them to keep x amount of days for this time?

There's 18 of us. Some will be off from the 24th some haven't got enough holidays left. The plan is to get the regular work done by the 24th then get all the odd jobs and new customers done between Christmas and New year.

On track so far.

Your making a rod for your own back....STOP offering an inside window cleaning service and they'll never ask you again! ;Dthat's what I do....I can't be arsed with them...unless of course you don't mind cleaning them.....

Not sure where I am with this at the moment.  It looks like I'll need to work Christmas Eve to get a bit in front, but I'm hoping to take the Thursday and Friday off after Christmas.  I'll need to do a little bit on New Years Eve as it's a weekly job.

from my experience when ive planned to work in between xmas and new year it has never happened.....when the time comes it doesnt feel "right" to be out there cleaning domestics, commercial can be done any time, even xmas day if you have no family.....
