Pryor leaflets dumped
« on: December 06, 2018, 12:40:30 pm »
Hi lee
Why do you dump thousands of leaflets?
One of my jobs has a unused parcel of land at the end of the plot
And is sometimes used to dump rubbish by passers by going to the station
I always look to tell the custie  if anything  big is dumped  and I shift it for them
Anyways found large amounts around 1500 to 2500 of wet soggy Pryor leaflets quite old and smelly
Recycled them for you Lee
But just thought you would like to know
I guess the hill is too much for the distributors to do

Why do "I" dump thousands of leaflets?????

The answer to your question is I don't dump my leaflets.

As for distribution companies that's the nature of the beast and will always happen to one degree or another. A box here or there is nothing in the big scheme of things.

Thanks for the info.

That has to be frustrating though as thats potential customers and income lost.

Not really

I will say it again...….. In the big scheme of things it has no impact and will always happen no matter who you use. Yes if I were a sole trader sending out 10K and that happened it would be a big problem but not when we did 800k!

What are the chances of that eh? But assuming he's not on the wind up, I doubt it would happen with Royal Mail.

Totally understand that, however, surely regardless of size and income of a company, a potential loss of income would be annoying on even a small level of emotion.     As that box of wasted flyers could have been some loyal customers joing and thus increasing those profit, perhaps covering the cost of a new tyre on the car 😉 perhaps.

A lot of printers usually over run the print order, we order 5000 a month and have had anything from 5400 to 6500 delivered to us. We get them bundled and folded into piles of 100, that's how we know the print is over run.

It wouldn't surprise me with the quantities Lee orders if his print run is 3 or 4 boxes over, so it probably balances itself out even with the throw aways.

Give Lee the approximate postcode Mr Oliver -  I'm sure he would love to have a chat with his distributors - I know I would!

poop happens.

As soon as you start to realise that the better.

Like I've said before I've had loads of non payers, just part of the game, accept it and move forward.

If you try and control every small element of life it makes it very stressful.

Very true.

Better to be less in control and happier, than micromanaging everything and being stressed
