Tank positioning in a Transit van
«

I'm about to get a garage or possible my local metal fabrication workshop to fit a 650L tank int omy SWB Transit.
I understand it's not supposed to go directly over the rear axle? Is it just a case of positioning it in such a way that both axles share the load?

Hope this helps.
