Oh dear oh dear.  ;D he hasn't helped his case has he?

If she is spreading false accusations of shoddy workmanship then really he should get legal advice and look into suing for Libel.

However, looking at the way he has dealt with the sitiation, and how he hasnt effectively communicated with the customer without laying into a barrage of insults, its no wonder she is complaining.

You’ve got a thing about suing people.

The fella in the video did himself no favours at all. He should be ashamed of himself for responding to her accusations in that manner. If that were me I’d have to keep my head down, forget the customer and just try to look forward to building a reputation founded in trust and quality work.

If she's a messier or not and even if he's got justification to be angry. This is the perfect example of "how Not to behave"!!   if the old dear was younger and her feller was in, I'm sure physical retaliation would have ensured.

I saw this posted on a Facebook page, I think window cleaning UK (but not sure). Totally out of order and deserves the public humiliation

Not a good look. I think matey should find himself another job.

This is not good for our industry. I have spent a lifetime trying to re assure people that I will do a good job at a sensible local rate. I am careful to assure customers that they are in the driving seat at all times when I work for them on their homes. If they want me to leave or stop what I am doing, I will do exactly that. It's all part of the service.

Boys like this just make my job more difficult, and I will never thank them for that.

If you boys on this forum want to be window cleaners, and want the world to take you seriously as an industry, you need to be pro active in stamping out people like this.

From me it's a thumbs down for the windie.
if it is dirty it is fair game

I love the way this business is on, so many different levels; and that was somewhere near the bottom.
"Thank you for calling: if you have a 1st floor flat, mid terraced house, lots of dogs, no parking, no side access, or no sense of humour, please press hold!
For all other enquiries, please press1"

I’m pretty certain I wouldn’t have reacted as he did, but it sounds as though she got neighbours to cancel? She looks and sounds horrible too. We didn’t see the build up. He doesn’t deserve any sympathy but neither does she. Nasty piece of work.

Coming from the window cleaner who got a lady to come out of their house and move their car so you could get your hose out from under the car just to teach them a lesson, when you could have just unclipped the hose😂

Yeah definitely not Professional.
But I hope he doesn't give up window cleaning, he should become a member of CIU.
He would fit right into the Other non-cleaning related section of the forum.
As long as he can rant and rave about Brexit, Religion, Donald Trump and Faddy Diets etc.........

He texts to ask if she wants her windows cleaned.
He last cleaned them in March.
A window cleaning company has offered to clean her windows free for a year.

 Ok  ;D
We look at them, they look through them.

Silly fool, word of mouth recommendations are priceless but mouth off a customer (right or wrong) and you can guarantee gossip will travel very fast in small communities.

She not long got into the house and I asked in a professional manner, spoke courteously and she agreed to move the car. No force, or aggressive behaviour used.

What's all the 'she lost me a customer' business? wtf? Just walk away man. Every customer has the right to decline services and speak to who they want about their experience. It's important to keep your cool. It's your reputation. Customer service is everything. You can't please everyone & I know some customers can be a right pain but you can't go round doing what he did. If they become too much of a pain for whatever reason I try to make them happy for a few cleans & then just tell them 'I think it best you get somebody else. All the best'.
