Gardiner swivel neck on a phantom
« on: November 19, 2018, 04:47:07 pm »
Can you fit a Gardiner swivel neck on a phantom pole? After using a swivel neck every day I couldn't be without one but know they don't have a one for the phantom yet but would like to try one of the poles. Thanks

Apparently Phantom poles 30ft and under use a smaller diameter No.1 section so no gardiners  complete gooseneck will fit unless you modify it. Over 30ft they are  leaving the No.1 section out and adding an extra section to reach the achievable pole length but still can't comment if Gardiners gooseneck will fit as I don't have one myself. I have asked before about the  diameter or circumference of Phantom's 40ft pole but no reply from window cleaning warehouse on that or from Facelift. What I would like to know is where can you buy the inner sleeves for the clamps when they wear down as it's impossible to track where you can buy replacement sleeves.

If the phantom has a standard thread on the end- like poles had in the stone age  ;D then yes, Gardiners sell various goosneck assemblies which fit the old fashioned pole ends.

The phantom pole doesn't come with a standard size gooseneck. A Universal gooseneck is too big to fit the first section of  phantom poles as the first section is smaller diameter so you would need to buy a universal swivel gooseneck and disregard the part that fits a pole to connect to Phantom's smaller gooseneck

Yes,  just change the part that the cog connects too (the part you use to adjust the angle of brush head) the teeth will match the standard fittings on pretty much all poles.

Thanks for the replies, didn't think about changing the part with cog/teeth I'm waiting to see if the hi mod is in the Black Friday sale
