I think I can; sort of; but it'll leave more questions unanswered than answered.

At the time Grayham (or Gayham) departed he'd been a right pain to moderate.  Many of his posts were double entendres, or just down-right rude.

At about the same time he departed, the Professional Window Cleaners Associaition came into being, and I had (being a mod at the time; after a few 'ding dongs' with him previously) an e-mail saying something along the lines of 'Sorry, mate, I'm behaving from now on', and then another long-winded one saying he's leaving the forum, he's big in the 'window cleaning world' and he congratulated me on being the new Treasurer for the PWCA.

Not many people knew I'd put my name up for that post at the time.  (I subsequently withdrew my name; I was too busy with my own business to give it the time it deserved).

He was obviously a 'bright spark', entertaining; naughty too; but he did leave me intriged to who he was and how he knew (I'd volunteered for treasurer).

I think he came from the Salisbury area.  Does anyone know who he is?

He was indeed a wild card at times.
He went too far, as he well knows.  But then so do many in different ways.
I was struggling to make the change to wfp.  It can be a mine field.  There are many genuine guys helping on here, but some just want to sell, some don't really have a clue though they talk with such conviction, and many need help like I did.  Despite his madness on the forum, he helped me more than anyone to get up and running with wfp.  He gave me a lot of good advice and pictures by email helping me get set up.  Off the forum he was a completely different character.  his characters online were fictitious, as in reality are many of us.
I know his real name....but if I told you I'd have to kill you! 8)
I miss him.  But he assured me "Golden Graham" is dead and buried.
If he started posting again under another alias I would spot him......
But I don't think that will bring him out of hiding.   He just got bored.

PS.  You should have put this in the "chat" section.  It will eventually be locked on here, which just goes to show..."Graham"... is still lurking...

He did come out with some classic one liners. It was a pity when he went. He added a bit of colour to some topics...

I always thought he was someone on this forum posting under the alias of Graham as well as with their own screen name. By that I mean one person posting as themselves and also as Graham.

Dunno why I always thought that though?

He had a sense of humour alright and that was fine.  Trouble is that sometimes a more technical thread would get distracted or diverted by the humour.  That can make filtering the needed information more difficult - especially when new.
