Ok, just took it for a 15 minute cruise, it’s definitley the heated seat cable, the back rest works but the seat itself isn’t getting warm, so that’s the answer.

Still have no idea where it connects though, I’m
Not on face book so won’t be looking on there for help, will have to try popping into Ford, or look on Ford forums!

I’ve changed my battery this morning and it connects to the side of the live terminal pal as the other pic posted above!
Fairly easy battery to swap out I found once you undone the seat frame bolts too!

Cheers mate, the other pic that someone posted doesn’t show the same part?

I can’t see where it connects, Mine looks different to other pic....

I don’t think he has the same wire setup, as mine is an offshoot from the wiring loom. There’s already a plate etc connecting to the battery, but I seem to have this extra wire and plate that the other guy hasn’t...

I think you already have one of those plates and wires on the positive zesty , do you think it could go on under the other plate hence having no previous bolt markings , as another reply you had earlier pointed out that red does not normaly go to negative
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

Offfff that's not easy to get into! Think I'll maybe give it a miss.

What spec is the first van and what spec is the second pic, that way you can suss out the accessories.
Absolute nightmare to access aren’t they?

Sorted it.

It slots into a piece of plastic towards the front of the seat. It’s only used where twin battery’s are fitted to certain transit customs.

Still don’t think the heated seat is working properly though.  ::)roll
