Microbore 6mm Id hose
« on: November 01, 2018, 07:09:37 am »
I'm looking to purchase 6mm I'd hose for my hose reel
Where's the best to place to buy hose that is flexible ( I use cold water and to mean to pay for hot )
That wonk kink like mad in the winter.
As the id is 6 mm instead of 8mm  will the water inside the hose freeze quicker when hose is on the ground
What are the pros and cons ?
Any advice appreciated

circuit hydraulics off eBay

shouldn't have any issues with calibrating etc..

whether it freezes quicker than 8mm bore I couldn't say - there are so many areas where the system can freeze like the jets at the brush head I wouldn't worry about it.

6mm bore is much easier to work with regards weight and dragging about

all hose is like wire in the winter months using cold water......and yes of course the hose COULD freeze in the hose whether its 6mm or 8mm....microbore is much more manageable though than dragging around minibore hose for sure....

the standard yellow microbore from gardiners is good....i use the red hose from pure freedom though as i use hot water
price higher/work harder!
