Dear oh dear.

Mate the car was £75 grand. you dont get that for 650 a month! I put over £10k worth of spec on it. That colour alone was £1000

well done lee! you deserve to treat your self!
did your eyes water when you took that dividend payment must have been well over 6 figures to buy that sort of car

I havnt taken a dividend payment yet because I spend all the profit on growth. You cannot take a dividend if you show no profit. I pay myself a fixed monthly wage through PAYE the car is on finance and I pay the monthly payment. I only pay myself enough to live in my house, drive a nice car and go on 2 nice holidays a year. Everything else gets re spent.

Is that not an individual colour Lee? My wife was going to get the 5 series touring with individual colour, can’t remember name of the colour but it was a mid blue/purple ( ended up getting one in black 😒 ) I’m sure th e individual paint was gonna be somewhere between 2 and 3K😲

Actually lee if i may ask and i think a bunch would also like to know all this hard work and profit which has to be into 6 figures on almost a million turnover when do you feel would be a good time to increase your personal wealth ? rather then keep reinvesting as you have done for many years.
i guess its down to each person you prob want to keep growing.

That must be a low deposit then if 550-650 a month won’t get you 1 of those M4s,it works out better leasing 1.
How could it work out better leasing when the car is on 0% finance. Give yerself a shake!

You can lease one in some cases cheaper, BMs drop like a stone from new. I’d never buy a car like that again I’d lease.

Because of the resale value I would much rather have another new 1 after 3 years, after 3 years it’s probably going to have cost you more than the lease in buying 1 maybe not Lee if he’s got 0% finance. There’s loads of M cars with top spec they aren’t worth an amazing amount more than standard, they are high spec anyway second hand value I mean, they do an upgrade which lowers the backend and a remap which takes it to around 500hp I believe,IMO the backend needs lowering on that M4 it looks a bit jacked up to me. Can’t beat the M3 V8 Lee 3 door version this M4s supposed to have taken over from, they only make the M3 in 4 door now such a shame.

I plan to keep with my existing plan until the end of next year when we should hit a £million in turnover. Then I will re coup the money I lent the business from my previous house (£300K) I will take this back over a 1.5-2 year period and pay no tax as its a loan repayment. This then becomes the deposit for the next house. So in effect I moved money from the last house into the business to grow it rapidly then moved it back into the next house leaving a much bigger and better business for me. Then I will pay myself once a year with a single dividend at the end of the tax year once all expenses and corporation tax has been paid. This way I pay the least amount of tax. The single lump will move into a separate current account and be divided into 12 monthly standing orders into my personal current account meaning I pay myself monthly for the next 12 months based on last years profit. (are you all still with me here)? lol  ;D

The argument for paying lots for brand new cars is fine as long as you keep it long enough, In this case 3 years and hand it back start again and so on. Add in the 0% and there isnt a better deal for the situation I want. Plus it was a lot of fun sitting down and choosing my own spec ect.

I just bought a new cheapie car....

A Vauxhall Zafira GSI Turbo...2003 model. with 220 BHP.. ;D ;D ;D its hilarous...i'm currently de-chaving it

Its a rolling restoration, project car, fitting new turbocharger next week from Courtney's and will be getting it mapped to 275bhp.

1) Wife wanted something she can bundle the kids into & take their friends out as it has 7 seats,
2) I wanted something I can take spades & wheelbarrows down to the allotment in, and be able to pull wheelies in 2nd gear on the way back whilst listening to dire straits on the original factory clarion head unit..
3) Not have to worry if she gets any car-park dings in Sainsburys (she will)

Only paid £1900 for it, so far i have spent around £300 on doing the timing belt, water pump & usual stuff that cars of this age need, will be getting the wheels refurbished and you know just messing about with it. will be buying a new car next year, but we are going to keep this one too, its so fun and..cheap..and happy.

Our 2010 Mazda 6 2.5 Sport, that cost me a grand last year in gearbox repairs, and a grand this year needing a new steering rack. sold it for 3k and bought the zafira with the change.  We owned it for 5 years that car, flipping expensive to repair & service tho, glad to be rid of it.

When leasing you are paying the depreciation! Yes they do a 2 door M3....it’s called an M4😉. I’ve had both the V8 4 litre M3 and my current M4, I much prefer the M4, although I do miss the sound of the V8

A few years ago the V8 M3 used to make me twitch a bit bit the M4 doesn’t have the same effect with me,the M4 to me and this is only my opinion is pointless if you ever wanted a 2 door M BMW you’d go for the M3. The reviews I saw about 6 months ago all said it needs lowering at the backend in order for it to have the same presence on the road as its dad, anyway enough of this BMW forum lol.
