washed van,vacuumed it out,autoglym glass polish on the inside windscreen,wiped down all dashboard,seats etc.....

took apart xtreme 25 and flushed it out with water,re assembled and applied a thin layer of  dry PTFE spray on each section,re adjusted clamps...sprayed connectors and ladder padlock with WD40,changed a few brushes on fixed goosenecks and binned a few too!topped up screenwash and checked oil/water etc.purified water for tomorrow and put batteries on charge....

all ready for tomorrow now lads!i love a good "pottering about" day...

Can you expand on the list of tasks you completed so we can be sure you didn’t just pansy about all day trying to convince yourself you were being busy.


I spent the day in a 5* woodland lodge, lounging around in the  hot-tub and generally relaxing and having a great time with my other half. We’ve got 4 more days up here. Sod work.

No Daz. It looks like a window cleaners van.  It may not be brand new but I keep it clean and presentable because its my
' shop front '.  I  just clean it when it s needed whilst working or end of day / break. No need for me to do it on my day off.

why didnt you do all that on a sunday then you can get back out working on monday and dont miss a days work!
i tend to do bits when im filling the van up at the end of the day myself so everythings kept on top of rather than let it build up.

Clean my Xtreme poles every now and then, flush through with customers outside taps if gritty.

Take van to polish dudes every now and then for a clean.

Wash all trad gear
All signsheets printed off
All of October’s commercial invoices done ready for sending
New RO properly plumbed into the garage

Feels good being organised and ready to get stuck back into it tomorrow now.

cleaned the golf too inside and out which took another hour.....i didnt say it took all day!
