Just make sure to have it written on your policy about the water tank fitted.

I always thought more than didn’t allow that. ?

I’ve went with A plan insurance because of all the faff some companies cause when you say you have a water tank fitted.

Seems its now becoming more common these days for insurance companies to be aware of warer tanks in this new era of wc.

Its only going to bet better with is good news for our prices. Less being held to ransom.

Its good to hear that  more insurance companies are accepting the fact that we have ' A water tank' in our van. My first few years WFP van insurance was with Direct Line until they refused to insure because of the tank! This meant that there were only two options available to me before now. I'm currently with A Plan but after reading this I'll be shopping around again!

LOL, for a modification to be of any concern to an insurance company it must effect the original road handling and possible safety of the vehicle, example, lowering the suspension low profile wheels and so on, a tank bolted to the floor for safety purposes wont make the slightest difference to your insurance unless it has been bolted though something that might weaken the floor, even then the insurance company would have to prove that the damaged floor caused or added to the accident before it could refuse to pay out.
That said insurance companies aren't slow at putting useless nonsense on their policies to attract custom.
