Yo. What’s everyone’s preferred method of removing lichen from veluxs? At the moment I just scrub like ####.

ive never come across it on skylight windows.the only lichen ive seen lately is on old window frames...as i dont do "restoration" cleans i dont remove it.. ;D

sometimes ive come across it a bit here and there on conny roof jobs.i usually soak it with hot pure water and virosol and leave it for 5 mins then come back and use my plastic gardiner scraper to get it off.....it comes off eventually! ::)roll ;D
price higher/work harder!

Absolutely, I was waiting for someone else to mention hot water first.

Yes I understand that it’s probebly very good as a product but a customer is expecting dirty windows or velux windows with lichen on to be clean in 5 muinits I haven’t found any other way to do this apart from manually cleaning them bio type products are very good to kill this off but it takes time and then the glass would need cleaning anyway so why not just use hot water for the glass and have an instant clean and use the bio stuff for walls etc where it can do it’s job naturally , Ime not criticising your product just saying for removing lichen from glass there is a much quicker way

Not really suitable for Instantly clean windows but ok for walls etc

It works on all surfaces
