I just picked mine up today and had to pay £28 which consisted of UK VAT and a Parcelforce handling charge.

In all it's cost me £170.00 which is better than the £260 I've seen them on sale for in the UK.

I can't comment on the differences between the US version and the UK version, but I know there's one or two.

I haven't taken it out of the box yet. 

My old backpack is 9 or 10 months old; used constantly for all this time and had some hammer; a new battery; a leak (now repaired from when I dropped it taking it out of the car) and is still in good working order.
