I've always uses cheap Chinese pumps, ran straight off the battery via a simple switch. Never really had much issue with it, apart from them needing replacing every 6 months.
So anyway I thought why not upgrade to shurflo pumps and digital v11 controllers.
Good idea.
Except 2 things, firstly we have both pumps running all day pretty much but lately come the end of the day the pumps are running really slow...it's a 115ag battery only 6 months old. Seem the amp draw on shurflo pumps is a lot higher.
I don't really know what's going on I've had the battery tested and it's good, I've also bought a new charger and his hasnt made a difference.
I've tried calibrating controllers but doesn't seem to do much it still takes ages for pumps to shut off. I've had the pumps wires without the pressure switch and with the pressure switch and it doesn't make any difference. Is there a way of shutting the current draw off via controller? How do do calibrate the bloody things? The pressure build up before dead end is way too high, it's blowing out the fittings all day on the rectus.
Are the analog controllers any better?
Thinking of just going back to the cheap pumps never had this faff before.
