Bank Holiday
« on: August 19, 2018, 12:31:01 pm »
Who works them?

I usually don't bother but after a holiday and many schools to do over the next 3 weeks I think it will make life easier for me if I work it this month.

Me neither.
Even if I did, I live in a seaside city that thrives off tourism. Bank holidays at any time of year are just a complete nightmare with regards to traffic and parking. I really cannot be bothered with it.

Once in the last ten years.

I had a school to do over the Easter holidays and chose the Bank holiday Monday.
It's a game of three halves!

"I work Bank Holiday..."

Cue loads of shiners saying, "How very dare you as that's family time," or "You twit.  You must be skint," or "What about the customers?"

"I don't work Bank Holiday..."

Cue loads of shiners saying, "You lazy git.  Get out there and work," or "Don't let your customers control your business."

Damned if you do, damned if you don't :)

You lazy, skint twit; you need to start showing your customers who’s boss and realise the customers always right!
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?
