Submersible water pump
«

Hi Guys,
My submersible water pump (used to transfer pure from garage to van) has stopped working.
Ive had this one a while but before i go out and find another (google search) just wanted to ask on here what you guys use (if anything) as i know some last longer than others.
Ideally i want it to sit in the tank (in the garage) permanently rather than keep moving it in and out every day.
Thanks in advance guys
Steve

I bought mine from the local builders merchants. Cost about £60 (I think) about 5 years ago , used daily and sits in the tank all the time. You can get more expensive ones if you can’t wait 5 minutes for it to fill. No idea what Ltrs per hour it pumps out though

I've recently replaced mine with this one from Screwfix:
https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb583pmp-400w-automatic-dirty-water-pump-240v/65041?kpid=65041&ds_kid=92700031524321994&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PX%20%7C%20Shopping%20%7C%20Outdoor%20%26%20Garden&utm_term=4583657818964071&utm_content=G%20-%20Garden%20Power%20Tools&ds_rl=1245250&gclid=CKmnu9zY6twCFQraGwodZXUCpQ&gclsrc=ds&dclid=CM-v69zY6twCfAgE7QodDTMKxA
Seems to be generically the same pump I've used for years just different in colour (last couple have been blue).
I always leave mine submerged at the bottom of my storage tank, no need to take them out as they are plastic with a sealed motor and won't rot.

Check out screw fix! I got a dirty water submersible pump which was cheaper than a clean water pump. (as the pump caters for small pebbles etc compared to the clean pump, but as it doesn't matter with pure and it was cheaper, I went with this one.). I've got it submerged and for two years, no problem
(I posted this same time as above post, it's the pump he high lighted)

Thanks fellas,
will look on screwfix today, I use them all the time so ideal really, can easily take back as well if something goes wrong.
Cheers
