I use PayPal here, and whilst its not the most popular option; it is the fastest to get paid.
I can take payments from all credit/debit cards including AMEX and Diners
The money is in my business bank account the very second I take the payment from their card. Its really well worth considering.
Last month I processed £1125 in credit/debit card payments and the total cost for collecting that was £31 so 2.75 % on average
most of us can wait a few days for payments to hit our bank accounts (esp if the percentage charged is lower)as the money is often not needed straight away.over the course of a year if your taking a lot of payments by credit/debit card the charges add up......
If you are looking to grow your business; and you have a few vans with card readers in them; being able to have the funds available in the company bank account the moment the jobs have been paid for when your staff do the work; that's the best possible cashflow you could ask for. Thats better than BACS, DD, CASH; its better than the lot m8.
Nothing wrong with waiting 3 or 4 days for payments to come through. But running a LTD company with payroll and staff your CASHFLOW is the highest priority especally for growth.
Surely after the first three days you have the card reader, the cash flow is then the same?
(ie, you should have something clearing pretty much everyday after the first three days)
I’m also not entirely sure what potential cashflow problems BACS payments give?
In fairness, you talk a good game and I only have the one chap that works for me, so you must know what you’re talking about...
