I'm looking to be getting a new van soon i would like to get it done really good completely sealed on the floor and water to be going outside don't want anything going in the cabin and just somebody who's going to do the tank  properly and do everything else make it nice and neat

I found some people online I'm not so sure about them all three of them don't want to give a breakdown of Labour and parts however I can easily find out I suppose by subtracting the parts cost found them on eBay around 2,200 from guys called k systems and some other guys pricing more but with a heater all off eBay
Who would you recommend? Within reasonable prices

pure freedom or grippatank will sort you out.....none of them will be cheap though....

Pure Freedom will be MUCH cheaper than Grippa. Brodex are good value these days too. Depends where you are. I've got three PF fitted vans and it's a very neat and tidy job.

pure freedom are still not cheap..i guy paid £4,500 for a 500L system with an onboard RO when i was there the other week....it did include 2 poles,reel and hose though as well as pump,controller,battery,tank,frame and fitting....

Speedliner for the floor is good to make a it like a walk in shower room.  It's built like a tray to stop anything going into cab.

Around £2700 incl VAT and fitting for a 500l Grippa delivery only basic system.

I would also look at Pure 2o (the value brand of Ionics).

My personal preference would be not to use a Wydale tank.

If you plan to keep the system a good few years, the cost of paying an extra £500 or so for a good quality crash tested and fitted tank, is not very much.

Speed lining the floor will add a few hundred pounds more to the cost.

Theres a guy called Lee Martin on facebook wc page.  He comes highly recommended from lots of people on there.  Hes a supplier but also does van system fitting at your home address or you can go to his workshop.

Im considering using him for my second van when i buy it.  He’s alot cheaper priced than companies like PF and Grippa.  Shall we say his prices are “Reasonable”

He is cheaper, but not as neat a job from the pictures I've seen. He was the cheapest quote I had.

I recently bought 2 Peugeot partners, am looking on getting systems fitted...... Only 350 litre tanks

I am looking to pick up the tanks second hand and will either get local car/body repair shop fit them or get the tanks fitted local in wcw by there guy ..

Can't see why people would pay the price the local suppliers charge for fitting it's daft prices they charging

i had my hot water system fitted by grippatank while i went to cambridge for the day with my missus.....its 175 miles away from me and it was a fairly long drive back...i had some issues with the fuel line from the heater into the van s diesel tank but grippa were brilliant and sent a courtesy van up with system in so i didnt lose a days work and drove mine back down there to get it fixed....excellent customer service....ive also heard good things about pure freedom too......

Lee Martin is a great lad and can't knock his systems and he's very competitive. Let's face it it's just a tank a pump and a leisure battery. Why do we need all the bells snd whistles. I did that 20 years ago with ott  systems now ionics.. never again sod that.  After care with lee is first class also !!!

D.I.Y or buy second hand

Dont spend £1000s on what is essentially a pump, battery and  a few other bits

I just pcked up this 2 man system off ebay last week for £400

Bargain! 700l tank, 2 pumps, 2 controllers, auto shut off, 4040 R.O, 2 D.I vessels and filters and it has a frame round the bottom to bolt in.

would i have paid the 3 grand retail price for it though ?  not a chance

Only thing i would change is the old tatty manual reels to some nicer leccy ones, ill probably D.I.Y them though..

i agree to a certain extent adam esp if your just going for a delivery only cold system but if your having an onboard RO and/or hot water system fitted i think its better to get it fitted by someone who knows what their doing!

I was in the market for a new Electric reel some months back, I eventually ended up driving to Pure Freedom where I was met by Paul the engineer who actually designed and made the Reel. I had it fitted whilst I was there, which i might add was a very professional job. I got speaking to Paul about my through the floor rollers. These are the ones you buy from many of the online WFP websites, I was explaining to him that they could be a lot better designed. Anyone who uses them will agree with me. He took the dimensions of my rollers and last week I took delivery of my new custom made set by Paul. These aren't cheap but made out of stainless steel and the rollers are on bearings they are brilliant. I suppose what im trying to say is that if you have any special requirements, I can fully recommend Pure Freedom. When I was there I saw one of their water heaters which looked very well built and looked very compact.
