Just looking through my planner and some of my window cleaning  work is a month out of date, due to squeezing in other jobs. my customers are use to it as I dont lose any  through this just wondered out of curiosity if anyone eles runs this behind sometimes or just me

nope......all my work gets done on time....the only time im late is when im on holiday/sick/week off etc....

then i just move ALL my work forward 7 days(or whatever) and carry on my schedule a week late ON ALL MY WORK.....

i NEVER miss jobs out until their next due unless their having building work done etc......

Yes.
I'm starting to get behind. Some are as much as 3 weeks late.
I'm always flat out busy this time of year with a student lettings agency pre booking eot's ( my winter fund  ) plus trucks just failed mot and needs a few things sorting ( just what I didn't need  ). As long as I'm busy and earning I don't let it worry me. I usually manage to catch up within a couple of weeks by tweaking things a little and doing a couple of extra long days or a Saturday.

I'm finally back on track with my work. I like it scheduled and apart from the odd new work which is 8swkly, the majority is 4 weekly and I don't like it being out of sync because I like my long wknd off.

if you try and keep your work up to date theres less dirt to clean off too.......

I do carpet cleaning and soft washing aswell so sometimes jobs come up that I can't turn down even if i am 3 weeks behind

Been behind for almost a year now.

I don't know why I bother calling my round 4 weekly because it's not anymore. It's 5 weekly if you are lucky and if you are not lucky then it's longer....

I'm cleaning work from 20th July tomorrow so it's not all that bad atm

I’m usually bang on time these days but you can’t beat 2 or 3 days of backlog during the school holidays, due to parking not being as easy as normal it gives you other places to go instead

Being a bit behind is good, it gives you options and means you'll be never be short of work. However too much behind  is stressfull.

Agree with dazmond.

The amount of threads about poor payers etc etc is quite silly if ones are doing themselves out of money by running late.   
If it's down to a large round either take on a worker or loose the dross n keep the best. But shooting yourself in the wallet down to whatever reasons for constantly running late doesn't make sense

Daz, you always say that, it’s not true though. If you’ve more work than you can get round on schedule but still do your target earnings you’ve not lost anything. You’ve just more work than you can handle.

It’s just money left on the table that you could have earned, but haven’t. It’s a different way to look at it really.

ive never had a full round since i was 100%trad!

if your stacked out with work and your always way behind schedule then your also cleaning work thats dirtier than it needs to be.....
