Not really. We use cleaner planner. If I'm in the office I do the worksheets for the next day or the girls do it if I'm not in. Today I did 10 worksheets for tomorrow (164 jobs) in about half hour. Just over £4000 in total on the sheets

So that’s around £24 per job do you have a minimum price per job and if so how did you come up with it ? Do you get many say that’s to expensive ? What’s your conversion rate from enquiries to actual work ?  We do a lot of housing estates with 3 bed semis and cannot charge anything like your prices for that type of thing we would struggle to charge more than £10  and we live in an affluent area

It all comes down to how you sell it and what you offer.
If I came to you and asked for a monthly window clean and you said £10, I would say ok.
If I came to you and said how much for a monthly window clean and you said £12 once a month OR £15 once every 2 months, I would go for the 2 monthly because I’m saving money.
It’s a win win for you and your customer. By doing this, it has transformed my round. I offer 3 monthly too

How do you manage your fleet of vans?  Is there a reason for renault?  How you finding them?  I use the new Renault and love it.

I mean keeping them maintained and serviced, repairs, downtimes.   Remembering what's been done to each and when things need doing like brakes tyres oil checks etc.

Hi Lee
Well done with the business that's taken a lot of hard work and dedication for sure. I have too much work at the minute and am looking to expand as im losing/turning away customers on a weekly basis, just not sure best way to go about it.
Just wanted to ask what gave you the push to go for it !
Did you go Limited to protect your personal assets?
Do you employ the guys working for you (or self employed?)
Have you just gone for it or taken advice from someone ie accountant etc.
Cheers
Steve

I think the best answer I can give you is this.....

I decided that I was going to achieve my goals and that nothing was going to stop me getting there. Then I just got on with it day after day. I didn't put off, I didn't do it tomorrow or next week or next month. I set my goals and worked hard. It's amazing what can be achieved if you want it badly enough and I really wanted it.

Besides I'm not there yet. We are nearly at the end goal for our current base which is just half of my ultimate goal. In about 18 months we will open our next base and start all over again until we have the same there. 2-3 years from then I hope to say I'm done!

£10,000 a year

I've been with the same broker for a while. Last year was £7.5k the quote for this year was £10k. I got quotes from another company and managed to get mine down to £5.5k from my original broker.

(10 vans, any driver over 18).

What about recovery? I had a van recovered from London back to Hereford recently,  cost loads....
Trying to find a nationwide recovery policy, at a reasonable price for multiple vehicles and drivers, is proving tricky.

It was only a frigging O ring on the clutch cylinder too! Cost a fiver to fix.
