I would love to hear from guys with garage storage tanks how fast it takes to fill a 600ltr van tank from a 1000tr  Ibc   ,Ie do you gravity feed with wider hose ...,our pump and petrol filling nozzle our something different all together ... which is less time consuming ...

I use a 1/2 hp pump with 25mm mdpe fittings and tri co flex pipe. It takes me 12 minutes to fill 350 ltr tank.
I tidy the van and give it a quick wipe down while it is filling to use the time up well

I’m looking at Loncin type pumps at the moment. 500 litre a minute.

Got 4 vans. If they take 15 mins each to fill that’s an hour a day!

Well get the 4 operators to fill their own van so it will only take 15 mins to fill 4 vans.

Iusea submerged pump from screw fix, kicks out 170ltrs per min. To optimise this, I use close to a 2inch diameter hose and it fills my 500 litre in about 3 - 4 mins.
Haha just make sure you don't turn your back, as you can quite easily flood your van, as I found out. But saying that, I've never done it since

Clarke £40 pump , 1.25 inch layflat hose , about 5 mins for 350 L , would be faster but that is through 25 m of layflat !
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

Sub - pump from screw fix

don't use lay flat - slows the pump down and they leak all over the place after a week
get 1 1/2 plastic pipe

I use a submersible pump from the local builders yard. Cost about £60 and fills 500 Ltrs in about 5-10 minutes, I’m not in a rush though to fill it

I was thinking of the high option with lay flat 5inch hose ,,,lol you know like in the western movies 😂 no puns for cowboys now ...and got the idea from the steam trains getting filled up by them big water tanks with a arm that swung over and boost mega liters ......also is that not how they fill formula one cars in a pit stop with a big fuel can and a free flow gravity fed thing .....must be something n this eh

Tried the loncin last night and got very wet. It was like wrestling an anaconda!

Very quick though, not enough time to start the stopwatch. Think I might give the guys safety goggles for filling up. Or a crash helmet even.

I have  three tanks IBC's totalling 2700L. At the bottom is a 1000L and next to it with the top at the same height is a 700L. About 2ft above the 1000 is another 1000.

The highest gravity feeds through 2" hose the lower two are pumped up  through 1" hose. I have a sloping driveway and use the gravity feed. Dan the Man has a 400L upright with a narrow gap between it and the roof of his van and he uses the 1" pipe and pumps it up.
It's a game of three halves!
