George Help
« on: June 24, 2006, 10:14:40 am »
Hi, I'm messing around with George now, but I have a little question

Let's just say you have a customer who had a one time interior and gutter cleaning (apart from the usual 6 weekly outside)

How on earth do you list that? do you just say Cash received 7.50+(whatever cost for interior and gutter) and put it under tips or prepayment? because the customer is listed as let's say 7.50, but only once every 3 months or so you do the inside....how do you set that up then? :)

thanks,

- Timber

Good point timber!

I use george & come across this problem a lot.

Great programme  & I would be lost without it but I think a lot can be done to improve it!

hmm, thing is, it does come under under 'takings' so I suppose it's not a big deal, I just thought that I missed an option or something :)  ;D

Ok,

You have a customer scheduled for every 6 weeks window cleaning.

You then need to complete a once only gutter clean inbetween these date.

So what you do is this. Pull up the customer in your round list.

Click the job, amend the date to your new date and ammend the price.

When you have completed the job pay it of and where it says is this the new price click NO.

The replace the customer back into the date your next due to do the windows.

Best wishes,

hm, i/c does the same thing apply to cleaning it on the same date, or do you have to do a date in between regular cleans? (if I'm doing that house on the outside, I'm ofcourse not gonna do the inside the following week or so)

If you are doing the house anyway and this time round you clean the insides then just ammend the price accordingly, pay it of but don't change the price over, then the records will stay the same but the history will show when you cleaned the insides.

Hope this helps
