Im not buying it , im selling it but thanks for that dazmond ::)roll.

Im selling it because i have just bought another renault traffic , they are good vans.

I wouldn't spend ages saying how hot water is not worth it then spend 4 grand on a system , or say extreme poles are not worth it , then they are worth it , then they are not worth it........and so on and so on .

Why would you slag off this guys van. You don't want it, so just let him try and flog it.

There's no need for it, if you don't want it jog on.
if it is dirty it is fair game

Because he now looks down on people that dont have a brand new van , diesel hot water , powered reel and extreme poles.........even though he is an ex alchoholic who used to work from an estate car and p his money up the wall.

Perhaps he didn't realise you were trying to sell it? To be honest, I doubt if his opinion would make any difference as you'll most likely not sell it on here - statistically speaking.

Maybe in the first message but he still slagged it off after that , it will sell , i have no doubt about that , even webuyanyvan.com valued the van alone at £2395.

Has it got heated seats and air con?
A gym, drum kit and five star hotel in the back?
If it has, I might have a buyer for you.

My son in law sold his white Ford Connect T220 lwb van with webuyanyvan.com. The first valuation was over the internet. The actual offer when he took it in was half that. Tbh, the van was in pretty tidy condition. Their reason was that the van was first used on an army base in Cyprus before coming to the UK.

When my nephew went back to South Africa he used webuyanycar.com. It was the same with him; the actual offer was less than half. They went round the car with a magnet and discovered a bit of body repair had been done on the front wing. It wasn't even noticeable and the paint matched perfectly. I think it could well have been a factory repair.

The other thing that 'worried' me in both cases was that they pay you directly into your account. In both cases it took 3 days. If the business went into administration during those 3 days, then you will effectively loose your car/van.

i sold my old golf GTI for 3k to webuyanycar.com.it had over 100,000 miles on the clock,11 years old and the underside of the car was badly corroded...(my local mechanic said he thinks it could have been in a flood before i bought it),the engine management light kept coming on,there was a strange whining noise coming from the engine etc,etc....

guess what?they DIDNT even look at the engine compartment OR ask me to turn the engine on!they had a quick look at the bodywork, pointed out a few scratches/dents and then we went into the office..

i probably could have got 3.5k for it if id advertised it...maybe.....but i just wanted to get rid at my convenience.....and thats why these companies thrive....we dont want the hassle of advertising, timewasters and tyre kickers so we take them to these guys despite getting a few quid less than their worth.....

I think it's a very good price. The van alone should sell for 2.5k

Shame I don't need a van

Might be worth you advertising the system and van separate though, much bigger market then.

I agree , probably make a few more quid that way but i would rather just sell it as it is , not worried about making top dollar , especially if it gives someone else a good start .
