Pumping water from spare tank?
«

Hi All, I have a spare tank in the garage which I want to use to water the garden. The question is can i use standard hose pipe or will this be too small a bore to use on a sump pump and will it therefore be detrimental to the pump?

Thanks for the reply. The reason that I ask is that the fitting that is supplied with the pump is not standard hose pipe size! What adaptor did you use to fit with hosepipe?

You should have gotten a stepped barb fitting with the pump which you cut down to the correct size
