When i attend a new customer to look at a job and generate a quotation for them to consider there are a few comments that make me loose the will to live and immediately up the price of the job.

1. I usually do it myself but.......
2. Bernie, or whoever, he's a fireman, you know....he usually does all our odd jobs but he's been promoted and hasn't got time
     anymore.
3. If i can get my neighbour to have theirs done do we get a discount?
4. Whilst you've got your jet washer out can you give my garden furniture the once over, oh! and while your at it the bird bath is
      looking a bit sad.
5. It it cheaper if i pay cash?
6. I need it done ASAP

Mind you i'm 64 and very truculent

The garden furniture is a big one with me.

But the saddest one is from an elderly lady...... “ my husband used to do it”
