Squeegee app or other ones?
« on: May 16, 2018, 01:00:43 pm »
So on another forum the Squeegee App gets alot of praise and watching a youtube video on it, it looks quite beneficial for smart phone using.
However at £30 a month it seems quite steep.
I like the look of how easy it is to add my rounds and simply swiping left or right to say its been cleaned or not sounds appealing and user friendly.    But again, it seems steep in price. How does this compare to other apps.

Particularly looking for user friendly apps n mobile phone use rather than realiance on a laptop or pc to access to its full features.
Thanks in advance

Cleaner planner £18 per month, easy as to use on smart phone but it is best to use pc to do the most of the work.

You just up load your week a heads work onto the smart phone app and then sync at the end of the day, have had but 1 no connection  issue since using and was sorted out right away, any small issues i send an email and will always get a reply quickly.

Makes things so much easier and i dont miss writing everything out all the time, it also adds everything up for you too.

Ive just started using the squeegee app last week (free version)

First impressions are it looks great. Go cardless has now being made functional I think.

Im moving over to it when I get back off holiday, I've gone back to being a solo operator for the time being so I'm really looking to make everything as efficient as possible moving forward and this app looks perfect.

Yes its pricy but it looks like it will save me hours of time over the week, marking jobs off on the fly and 1 click to text all reminder etc. Apparently the pro version has route planning as well.

I've tried aworka and cp before but they are way too fiddly on a mobile phone.  Squeegee looks miles better imo. I'm impressed with it. Unlike cp you don't have to load a worksheet then sync it, this is always live if you have mobile data so you can do everything in real time moving jobs about etc.

You can set your owing customers to only show up when they are so late. For example when they are 7 days overdue they all show up in the owing list. So with one click you can text a late payment reminder to all customers 7 days after clean date. I think that's a great feature.

With cp I never felt it was worth the price as it's too fiddly and long winded on a mobile, was better on a laptop.

With this app it looks like I can reduce my admin down to literally a few minutes each day.

This is what appeals to me about it. The route planner isnt worth it to me, as its all local and i know the area well.
However the other features seem very good, but im not sure its worth £30 a month thats all.

Let me know your impressions after youve tried the premium app please

Don't like the GUI mate. Just looks rubbish on a mobile found it too fiddly. Tried to like it  a few times but just can't.

Squeegee is actually an app and thus its much easier to use on a mobile.

I instantly took to squeegee and I did not with CP.

It's not for me to say which everyone else should prefer but CP never made me think I have to have this. Squeegee instantly did.

Each to their own mate.

I say try em all and make your own mind up
