........to stop the pole hose coming out of the brush connector when pulling the hose using a univalve?i normally just use an O RING but lately its been sliding off the hose no matter how tightly i tighten the ring....

today it was very annoying....it came out at least 10 times when working.....i use orange PU hose and o rings from gardiners.....

I don't use anything.
Also, I don't use those little red clips that ensure your hose stays in the connector. I never have a problem.
However, I have one brush that can cause a problem, but only if the brush is angled straight up (as if you were doing a julliet balcony) then it pops out.

I am guessing it is more of a problem with hot water, it creates problems you don't often get with cold.

 a lost ma wee o clip  so just wrapped electrical tape round hose big enough so dont go down hole..... no problems

Two plastic cable ties next to each other- pulled very tight,obviously. 👍

These work for me. I cut them from a piece of 2" plastic plumbing pipe and drill them with a 7mm drill bit. Once on the hose they don't move unless you twist and pull at the same time

I taped the  hose to the gooseneck as a temporary fix a year ago when I ran out of o rings.

It's still like that...

Get some stainless steel double eared ones on ebay.

Wrap some electrical tape around it, thicker than the hole obviously, job done.

ive put an o clip,zip tie and a good wrap of tape on the hose and its just about holding it in place....

its the 60c+ water which is causing the problem i think.....

go to halfords and get 8mm fuel pipe clips put that on and screw it up only a pound for two

I keep a few in my motor as spares, but I’ve only had one crack in the 18 months or so I’ve been using this method

Fitted the exceed stay today......nice tight fit.....so far so good!😀
