Spectrum stainless 4040 casing
« on: May 12, 2018, 03:51:21 pm »
I've always used Champ housings but Gaps have stopped flogging them. They had a side in, a side waste and hole in the centre of the end plate for pure.

So, onwards and upwards to a Spectrum Stainless.

It doesn't have side ports and each end plate has two holes.  What am I connecting to where? I can't work out how to use four ports.

Help gratefully received.

I know nothing about the spectrum housings as I have a champ housing.
But I would contact the supplier for advice.
It looks like the extra hole will need to be blanked off with a 1/2" fnpt plug or end cap.

I would imagine they work on the same principle as the Gardiner's housings do Vin.

Centre outlet for pure, the one off centre for waste

I think the Champ housings were becoming too expensive. These look fine.
