Ive picked a good week just to have off from work.

Wish I was you....if you're not going home early or getting on the beer at lunch, you're taking the day off. And if you're not taking the day off you're having the week off!

I am my own slave driver.

I guess its working hard now so one day I dont have to.

Had to work hard previous couple of months to get my work back on track.  Some of my customers had me coming back earlier than usual 4wks so now that im back on schedule, I figured a wk off would just help customers have a break from seeing me  ;D ;D

Before going wfp I was always chasing my tail. I was quick n efficient on ladders n blading but always running late, haha mostly down to the weather.    Since going wfp and experimenting with different techniques n gadgets (valve taps, swivels, how many pencil jets, what size jets etc etc) I now believe that ive cracked it and have the best possible setup/ technique for my way of working, plus working in the rain certainly helps.    Then theres bigger homes n better prices etc,
But to be honest, i think at the moment ive cracked my own balance of work n family life. Yes i could take on much more work or take someone on, but thats at the sacrifice of my family life. Some things are more important than work n money

In addition though Ive been dealing with alot of enquiries for pressurewashing tbis week. Has any one else getting/ been getting similar enquiries?

Today I mucked up though. I picked up this job today and I was very tempted to keep on driving when I went out to quote, as I mostly like to quote in person as it helps with the sales pitch etc.

It worked, as im doing a soft wash on it for £80 and it will take just over an hour to do I reckon.  Its just a small section infront of a shop, but because im soft washing it I enquired of their opening days and realised they are closed every Mondays,  so Im there this monday early morning before i shoot of for my scheduled day of window . Told the wife when I got back and she reminded me its the bank holiday 😂 so im guessing im working bank hol monday......... Well atleast for a short while

Good old Nathan, poor paying traditional round for 12 years before going wfp, then buys two more rounds to cover for his new found speed, up his prices by about 1000% which is happily accepted by his customers because as it states on his website hes not on benefits. starts using hot which means instead of taking 8 hours to knock out 35 detached with conservatory he can do it in five leaving plenty of time within his 15 hour week to do £80 to £150 an hour add ons.
Not joking its the best rags to riches story since Cinderella, lol.

I kind of get what you are saying though...

I have behind at least a week all winter then I take someone on and I'm up to date, problem is some customers got used to me being a week or so late and have questioned me about being early.

Nevermind one more week of work then I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks so the round can get behind again just how I like it   8)
