Slippy base section of pole
« on: May 01, 2018, 05:09:29 pm »
Hello all,

I know this is partly because I'm used to wearing gloves through the winter and partly because the poles I use are a few years old and have become smooth. I'm finding they take a lot off grip compared to new to stop them spinning in my hand especially when using a swivel adapter.

I was thinking of putting heatshrink around the base section but thought i would post to see if anyone else had any better solutions ?

I wonder who had the time to work that one out. Very clever though.

I have used shrink tubing around base poles. works well. |You also do get a glued lined shirk

Use some self bonding silicone tape like this ,cheap as chips and makes any pole grippable.

Just like bike handle bar tape when its on.
