I've developed a small (pin-hole) leak near the bottom of the tank of my trusty Gardiner backpack. Having a van mount I only use it 2 or 3 times a week in order to clean terrace backs but I need it to be totally leak free so I don't leave drips inside the customer's house.

Any ideas on how to patch this up? I don't really want to fork out for a new backpack if I can help it.

2 part epoxy glue?

With a wodge of 2 part epoxy glue or superglue in between the two halves. Or silicone.

If it's not on a seam and it really is a pin hole I would melt it over.

As above melt it with a hot screwdriver or such.

Could even get a bit of plastic from somewhere and melt that onto it.

Thanks all. I used a heat gun to soften the plastic - the small hole is now filled & no leaks.

Easy to get caught out with the pw vibration turning the machine. It's like it's drawn to plastic!
