When trialing the aworka/George system I came across an error with editing the details. They got back the next day acknowledging the error and told me how to go around it. Which is basically clicking on the customer from a different screen and then editing. Not saying it is the same but worth trying different screens if you haven't already.

George is great.

It's so.simple, I've tried using cp and aworka on mobile it's all so fiddly.

If you like paper George gives you the best of both worlds.

Print off all your worksheets for the week in the van. Give you something to write on, add new customers, make notes etc.

Then when you get home open laptop and update George.

Make sure you make multiple backups and you'll never have a problem.

if you ve got a small crap smartphone then obviously its gonna be fiddly using the CP app......great on a samsung galaxy S8+ though...

george is ok but its nowhere near as good as cleaner planner.id rather pay the extra........i hate paper worksheets/debtlists now....you can also put your logo on invoices for commercial/large domestic jobs using CP(which you cant do with george)

so right, george is the truly  great system.  those others might have one or two or three extra features but my opinion theyre not worth paying all that money for especially if you are solo

i print the whole weeks work ahead  out on 1 sheet of A4paper on george. actually i print off the next 2 weeks following too -[2 more a4 sheets - i can read it all at a glance [you cant do that on the other systems youll take at least a minute  or 2 to get a good overview look }  when i get a person walk up on the street , when can i fit them in? , i need an instant overview -george gives me that

I like George not tried the others, it does everything I need I also like to print out worksheet and scribble notes etc on that as I have a terrible short term memory.
The one thing I would love that George doesn’t do is a bulk move on all customers at once I.e. if you take a weeks holiday be able to move every customer a week later on in one move, that would be the only criticism I have with George otherwise it does all I need.

You can bulk move a day at once, so a week does not take long to do. I am always having to do it haha

tried ALL the others and found them way to complicated. George is fantastic for a one of payment unlike all the others charging gods knows what a month and all cloud based which I hate.

you can write notes on your smartphone worksheets, change prices etc....best thing is you can ADD a new customer right where you want the job to be(in order)and itll stay there when you get home and sync to your main PC.

i can bulk move ALL my work forward a week or two with 2 clicks with CP.....BRILLIANT...saves so much faffing about.its also easier to reschedule work than george.....ive used both and george is slower and more fiddly by a country mile IMO.

if you think CP is complicated you must be really thick..it only takes a couple of days to get used to it....then you realise how simple and flexible it is in reality.....

I wish George would let you drag and drop jobs into the order you want to do them. Yes I know that you can put your jobs into round order, but when you've got 450 jobs which change a fair bit it becomes a bit confusing. So I just refer back to my diary to put the jobs in order.
We look at them, they look through them.

George is okay, it's reliable. If the cloud crashes...no big deal. If Cleaner Planner isn't working ....no big deal. George is aimed more at individual users. For the money George is perfect. Most of what CP does I don't need as my cutomers pay directly into my bank account without some middle management taking a cut. Only takes a minute to text a full days customers if I really had to with it set up properly on a clever smart phone so can't justify paying £15 or £25 a month for something I don't need but it looks decent if I did feel the need to throw good money into a fancy window cleaning program that's got the singing, dancing feel good factor whilst emptying your wallet every month.

It took you TWO days dazmond - who is the thickie now mate.

IF I wanted to pay CP @ £30 a month I could sort out how to use it in 2 friggin hours NOT 2 days   ::)roll

I had George, I don’t think it’s bad but I Deffo don’t think it’s as good as cleaner planner (yes with CP you pay a lot more) and that’s mainly down to personal reasons.

I’m not the biggest fan of admin and I prefer to keep on top of it with my phone there and then, I was a fecka for getting home and saying “i’ll Upload that tomorrow”... but that’s my fault, not the George app’s problem. Maybe they’ll change it at some point, it’s if not i’m more then Happy with CP

Down to what works for the individual as is 99% of things on this forum
