Yes I cut off about 30/40mm of pole hose every six months (or when I remember) where it goes into the brush fitting. This makes the fold point at the other end slightly different and you only lose about five/six inches in two years. By which time it may well have become worn out elsewhere along its length.
Another option is to go tubeless - which I'm looking into at the moment.
hi, the way in which we store poles is using guttering tubes, so you push the pole and pole hose into the guttering pipe. after about 6 months the pole hose will get a split here, (tried every type) is there an easy work around here that anyone does ? thanks in advance
