What do you use ?  35cm or 45cm brushes?

Looking at purchasing one to speed up some of my commercial jobs with big windows.

Ive used both. Thing about the 45 cm brushes is you can't realistically get enough water flowing out of it to rinse properly. If we had an equally large job as for when we first bought those brushes I probably give them another go but you literally need a 1/2" hose-pipe for them to be anymore effective.

I use  35 cm brush everyday now. Wouldn't clean with anything else.

Cant comment on the 45 but I use a 35 with the six jets on which youve probably got bored of watching all the vids on in past 
 I dont do commercial but it certainly speeds up residential work and for me, many of the windows with the side opening windows...... the brush fits snuggly into it so two passes (esp on maintenance cleans with hot water) and the windows done.

You wont regret it!

I've used a 35cm Extreme natural hybrid brush with pencil jets, for domestic work.
For me: It doesn't work! It doesn't make me any quicker.
However, the brush is excellent and very much suited to large panes of glass.
For commercial work, I think it would be great (lots of large panes of glass).
And as Slacky said, I would go 4 red fan jets (on full power), rather than pencil jets.
Twice over the glass, job done.

If it's really big, then plug into customers tap.
Then have someone following you round with pure.

I spoke to Mr G about this and that was the route we were thinking was reasonable if you’re doing a big panel commercial job.


It’s the rinse flow rate that slows you down. Everything else is down to the speed of the operator.

But i do find six jets better and i use the flow controller that came from purefreedom on 75 with their standard sureflow 5lpm 100psi pump

Are you using 1.4mm or 2mm jets ?

These are what i use, specially for the streamline brush as they are quick release jets.   Just sern they do fan jets as well, might try them.
But no where does it tell you what size they are and i aint got a ruler with me at mo, but i would guess perhaps 2mm

I have some, don't quote me, think they are 1.5 mm. Easy enough to drill larger. I had some and drilled them out to 2mm.  Prefer 35 wide brush with 6 jets on rather than larger brush on commercial as flow of water becomes a problem.

I put 6 2mm jets in 14" brush and the flow was poor, I now have 4 1.4mm jets and the flow belts out.

I think you told me when I asked you how you got so much flow from your 6 jets that they were 1.4mm Nathan.

Why not buy the brush with 1.4mm jets and also buy a separate set of 4x2mm jets?
Then you can swap them around and see which you prefer

Or better still. Take them off my old worn brushes

Thats what i like about the stream line ones, they are  twist lock so you can swap them about, extremely easily
