Any ideas on how to straighten out new pole hose?
« on: March 16, 2018, 05:15:52 pm »
I recently bought a new pole from Gardiners with yellow pole hose. The pole hose is an absolute nightmare to work with it just seems to get twisted and tangled (worse than yellow hose I've previously had).

Is there any simple way to go about straightening it so it's just easier to work with?

Pop it in a bowl of hot water. And then unravel it

I boiled my green PU hose for a few minutes in a large wok then layed it out straight and let it cool off. It was much easier to work with after that.

That's what Mr G said before I'm sure. Hot water then lay it out in the garden, although someone had the misfortune of a fox chewing after he left it out over night.
