That’s correct the sleeve helps disconnect the rectus as it pulls on the sliding section of the rectus to disconnect it but also because the sleeve is 2 or so inches long that helps it just about stick out enough to plug in and pull off, when I wasn’t using the sleeve and just a bare rectus I would have needed to get my fingers inside the pole to slide the rectus collar down!
I’ll post a pic up later of it connected😉

I'm getting my ejector sleeve mixed up with the snap on pole spacer. Apologies.

Though the tubeless kit is a great piece of engineering and a lot of thought has obviously gone into it, I've found it a lot simpler and more effective to just leave a short hose tail at the base of the pole and fit a JG connector. With this form of tubeless setup you don't need spacers, bungs or ejector sleeves. It works for me as I like the 'asap' aproach (As Simple As Possible). The less bits and bobs we have attached to our kit the less there is to go wrong with it and the easier it usually is to find and fix problems.

Now I'm confused.  :)
If you use the sleeve won't your rectus fitting be further up section 1? If so how are you disconnecting when you want to swap poles for different jobs?
The idea of tubeless is that the sleeve protector should just be sticking out the end of the pole when it's collapsed so you can disconnect.

That’s correct that’s why you use the spacer to extent the pole by about 60-70 mm then the sleeve is just at the base  cap on the pole I have adjusted mine to suite my needs

I tried your way several years ago but found that the fitting hit the bottom of the pole each time it was extended or collapsed and it was a pain : so got Steve’s set up and works well

just finished work for the day lads, absolutely worked a treat with the sleeve on, ideally the sleeve could be abit longer and i may contact whoever it is who makes them and see if they could do me a slightly longer sleeve.
have to say first full day on the xtreme, arms and neck feel great and work has been rattled off much quicker.
i usually finish 1-2ish and today got done for 12.30!!!
money well spent hopefully

As you can see it’s fairly short when its connected and poles fully collapsed!
Ideally I could just do with a sleeve that’s an inch longer, wonder if exceed could make me one maybe?

Why do you need it longer that’s the perfect length to connect-disconnect ????

The way it is there I’d just like it ideally an inch longer so I can pull it off with more than the tips of my fingers, it’s working perfect as it is but just a tad more easier to grip🤗

Just shorten the spacer on the top section of the pole that will give you a longer ejected sleeve to get hold of just don’t have it all sticking out the end if you do when extending the pole it will disconnect: from your picture I would have thought where you have it would work well

I don’t have a spacer on the top section pal, that pic is of the clamps fully closed down!
