Now I'm confused. If you use the sleeve won't your rectus fitting be further up section 1? If so how are you disconnecting when you want to swap poles for different jobs? The idea of tubeless is that the sleeve protector should just be sticking out the end of the pole when it's collapsed so you can disconnect.
Though the tubeless kit is a great piece of engineering and a lot of thought has obviously gone into it, I've found it a lot simpler and more effective to just leave a short hose tail at the base of the pole and fit a JG connector. With this form of tubeless setup you don't need spacers, bungs or ejector sleeves. It works for me as I like the 'asap' aproach (As Simple As Possible). The less bits and bobs we have attached to our kit the less there is to go wrong with it and the easier it usually is to find and fix problems.
As you can see it’s fairly short when its connected and poles fully collapsed!Ideally I could just do with a sleeve that’s an inch longer, wonder if exceed could make me one maybe?
The way it is there I’d just like it ideally an inch longer so I can pull it off with more than the tips of my fingers, it’s working perfect as it is but just a tad more easier to grip🤗
