Does anyone use this for fascia cleaning? What do you use to spray TFR on a high surface?

Where do you get these to fit a gardiner pole then?

DA components do them. Its like a turbo nozzle that you can put straight into your pole. So it helps to mix your solution as it sprays out.

When you buy a backpack they come with a spray Lance.

What I would do it cut the Lance in half, put the trigger at the bottom of the pole and put the nozzle at the top with a length of hose in-between.

But that's a d i.y idea I'm sure there will be a more expensive way to do it.

But generally speaking you don't really need to do this just spray onto the brush and give it a all a quick swipe over. Then get cracking.

Does anyone use TRF on first window cleans? Would this be ok to do if properly rinsed off with pure water?

Or why not just buy a spare backpack fill it with tfr and use a brush with fan jets to spray it on.

I don't use TFR on first cleans I use an all purpose cleaner such as G101 or just flash . Spice it up with a bit of bleach for more advanced staining and add some washing up liquid to make it stick. Watch your eyes lol

I use a Gardiners backpack with Screwfix No Nonsense Degreaser and an Extreme soft brush with red fan jets.
Sometimes use this for first cleans also. Never a problem with the glass but I don't tend to leave it on too long.

If you're looking for something more industrial, then get a Softwash washer from Rutland Pumps. I think they also sell the nozzles and other bits.

Do you not use hot water Lee? if so why the need for chemicals on a first clean?
If a first clean is really bad (black frames etc) then in the past i have used diluted virosol...spray on (but dont leave it on to long) and then good scrub and rinse. If your going to use TFR i would make sure its a non caustic one, but i found virosol to be sufficient.

The same.

Dilute virosol, 4-5 mins soak max. Applied to brush and just soak the window then agitate with the virosol, go do the rest of the uppers like this then go back and a really good clean n rinse.

Yes we use hot but gas boilers are a bit of pain, they break easily, cut in and out and are expensive to replace and run. I spend about £200 a month on gas bottles and so on. Thinking about getting rid of them. Some on here have said that a bit of chemical works better than hot anyway.

backpack with virosol in it.no need for spray lances etc.just connect up your normal pole....hot water and chemicals is even better for cleaning(esp really dirty first cleans/add ons)IME......

if i were you lee i wouldnt bother with the gas heaters, they can be dangerous and with employing id defo get rid of them.......diesel heaters are safer and much better but not viable if you have 10 vans on the road.....save your money......
price higher/work harder!

We had hot and had the same experience as you Lee, hot was not as effective as chemical, so removed hot systems, now back to reliable cold 😀

Dedicated brush with spray jets fitted and TFR in a backpack.....depending on soiling turbo brush to rinse or bog standard hose reel hooked up to customers tap.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.
