Resin 5 litres?
« on: March 06, 2018, 11:19:08 pm »
Hello.

I buy resin off Gardiners in 5 litre tubs.

Don't see on their website anymore?

Just sent email.
Have they pulled the plug on this?

I use  ro setup  and resin is polisher, use 0.5 cartridge and change every 2 weeks.

So use 1 litre a month.

Don't want to buy 25 litre sack😐

Anyone else know of supplier that sells 5litre tubs of resin?

Thanks lee

This is them , they only list up to 2 L at the mo , not sure what you pay for 5 L , it might work out pricey but i think it is freepost !
They are quick to send too , but are showing as away at moment !!

What about pure freedom?
Also have you considered using a bigger di vessel instead? I use a 4.5 ltr di vessel which lasts some time, whereas an 11ltr would last much more

I started with a 1 litre, now Iv got 2 11 ltr vessels . It works out cheaper to buy more and your not changing them all the time !

Andy M, thanks for that daqua doesn't seem to display that on his site.

Yep pure freedom sprung to mind last night👍
Dear though if I remember.

Thanks Nathan, yep better to have bigger vessel.
My setups at my parents, my dad is a real pain in the ar5e.

He managed to knock over half a sack of resin once 😁

Also don't run a heater in his garage, long story😁

So disconnect ro and bring into the house when -4 upwards.

Hope to move late next year, then won't have to tip toe around people and bite my tongue 😖
