I quite liked the idea of their tank on a skid plate although it must have added a lot of extra weight. One of the local lads bought a Renault van with a tank fitted. They located the 4040 r/o inside the tank in the water which would lesson the chance of the r/o freezing. Not sure if the tank was baffled or not though.
I quite liked their innovation - finding non-standard solutions.I quite liked the simplicity too. They tended not to use flow controllers. Instead you would vary the flow rate with a return-to-tank pipe with a tap on it. That works well with a robust pump.

Whatever, the mould to make the tank must have cost an absolute fortune - they did a couple of different sizes as well didn't they? Its little wonder that Wyedale were the tanks to use back then. That's the problem Spruce, a lot of these guys get carried away with the innovation and forget that they have to sell the product in order to make money, an RO inside a tank sounds costly to produce and probably not needed by the majority of users.

The pump worked flat out and I could never get the adjustment right to suit me. The first controllers that Varistream made were just a game changer for me with regard to water saving.
