Why don't you buy yourself some decent trade ladders marc?much sturdier/solid than the ones you 've got on your van.their crappy DIY ones......

I've got a pair of cheap doubles like that.

Only ever get used very rarely if doing a conny roof that's hard to access from the ground.

I don't use ladders at all day to day. Probably less than 5 times a year they come off. Just for show mine really.

She's an interior designer mate and a great painter and decorator.pity she's not a good cook but I've got the best luxury wallpaper up in my flat...the bedrooms like a pimps palace(black and gold)

Im the same , i had a leak in my roof last week and wanted to go up and have a look , then i remembered i had put the ladders on my roof as i dont use them any more
