fastar heater parts?
« on: March 02, 2018, 12:05:20 pm »
cracked my heater before christmas with the ice and put a new one in january, gone to defrost everything today and the new ones cracked where the brass diaphram is exactly like the last one, could have sworn i'd drained but not enough lol
before i order a new heater any ideas on where i could get a replacement part, seems a waste to chuck an almost new heater away :(

Small but perfectley formed

I have the L5 , had it 7 year i think ?
I have never drained it yet , all i do is wrap old duvets round it , always been fine , saying that i have to go and check the van in a mo , may well have tempted fate there  ;D

This is my storage tank this morning

I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

Haha I was the same pal 5 years I had my old heater then that just cracked the diaphragm where the drain screw is, and no’s this new one too.
I never drain from the screw, just drain the pipes and hope what’s left will be ok but after this that screw is getting undone every night now!!

Well i just got real lucky there .... tank hose , pump then pump to boiler all frozen , had not gotten to boiler and beyond yet !
So just whacked the fan heater in for a bit seems ok now , will run it up after this post .

The best bit is as i was laying out the cables ,  the bint next door comes out and kicks off .
It goes a bit like this.......
Her- " Will electric be running through that cable ? "
Me- " There is a fair chance as its an electric cable ! "
Her- " So if i cut it i will get electrocuted ? "
Me - " Dont feckin cut it then you dopey cow ! "

So im in for yet another interesting night with my lovely neighbours , this is what i woke to a few years back after my other half parked her car in what they took to be  " Their space "  (public car park)
See how lucky you lot are  ;D ;D ;D
