But that drip on the bathroom sink waste pipe won't fix itself .
You're right though; no point fretting .
Some plumbers mate if you have any otherwise I would leave alone, if you mess about with it then you can't get out to b&q in the event you need a new part your fecked.
I wish I'd read this earlier

I already had what I needed, I called at Screwfix this morning (though they gave me some of the wrong stuff but that's another story). Cracked on with the old pipes as the new were too big. Turned the water on and it's going everywhere; I mean everywhere.
Shouted to my missus to turn the water off but she couldn't manage it (that too is another story). I ran downstairs to do it and in the panic I couldn't manage it. I eventually composed myself and turned it off but by now water was coming through the ceiling
The new flexi hose had kinked inside so wasn't allowing the water to flow through. By now the lights are flickering
Turned the power off, mopped up best we could and I sorted the flexi hose out and got it on.
Just left the lights off to dry out, so things not too bad apart from a bit of bubbly wallpaper.
It was my own fault for rushing and forcing the flexi hose on. Frank Spencer eat your heart out
.
I wished I'd worked in this weather now
