The thing we have to remember here lads, this is a forum not just about what sort of pump to use, what pole is best etc etc.

We are business owners, in charge of OUR OWN direction. This is a forum of business, and I feel Lee has raised the bar on so many levels here. I have had quite a long chat with Lee, and the guy is a genuine fella just enjoying running his business, its a bit of fun guys, he sees this whole thing as a bit of fun, and that's why he is doing so well, he is enjoying it.

Beforehand, i was ready to jack it all in, I had enough of window cleaning, but Lee's inspirational posts & the financial risks he has personally taken, has shown me just how much of a rut i had got myself and my business in, and how i neglected my own direction, pride, and business focus.

Yes, it is just window cleaning. Do i want to become a millionaire? Well...no. I do want direction and focus in my business, i do want scaleability in my business, i do want to minimize my personal risk so it just doesn't rely on me, and if i become a millionaire in the process, then that's great, but most of all i am starting to enjoy running my business again, and i haven't had joy in my window cleaning business for around 11 years.

Yes I agree this is a forum for business and what size pole to use etc, but why has klean07 used the forum to announce " hey everyone, lee Pryor has just given me free advice over the phone"??

I dont see how that is helpfull or informative, or anything like it. Surely he could of just said thanks to lee whilst on the phone.

Obviously he's trying to show us all what a ncie guy lee is because he's giving out free advice. funny that, because when I asked lee for some free advice he turned me right down and said that it wouldn't be fair to give me free advice on the guys who have had to pay for the privilege.

Lee probbably got completely inundated with people asking him for advice right at the beginning, you know it was quite a radical thing to do; sell your house and inject all that money into the business.

If i was him, i would have done the same just to reduce the volume of people asking for advice. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the main reason for it.

Its chicken dinner for him, because the ones that do want solid time, and advice pay for it, and lee doesent waste his day speaking to endless lines of window cleaners all asking the same questions for nothing .

Cant understand the ridicule. Use your common sense fellas and think why someone does something. I have been chatting to lee on and off without charge, but im not asking for mentoring or advice we are just chatting.

I don't think selling your house to free up a wedge of money is that radical in a business sense.

Lots of start-ups do that. Not a lot of window cleaners do it though. It isn't such a big step in a business sense when you look at the whole picture.
