Hi John, it's Peter the window cleaner. Your clean is due tomorrow, so could you please leave your side gate unlocked. Regards Peter
"Thank you for calling: if you have a 1st floor flat, mid terraced house, lots of dogs, no parking, no side access, or no sense of humour, please press hold!

People just dont have the cash they used to have.

For payment reminders i text the following..

Dear customer.

Please remember to settle your window cleaning bill today as it is now due for payment.

Kind regards Marc Stock

Easy

As far as next cleans, i dont need to send a text because they already know when i am coming next, its on thier bill.

I wouldn't use any of the above, I don't like the wording.

'Hi xxxx, window cleaner calling tomorrow.

Cheers, Bungle.'

^^they will know to leave gate unlocked and or payment.

'Hi xxxx, windows were cleaned on 25/02/18. Could you BACS payment please.

Cheers, Bungle.'

^^ I'll text this after 10 days or so.
We look at them, they look through them.

True, i have just got a mobile massage table and thinking of adding it to my services. But i would be cherry picking which customers I might offer this too, at the end of the above text

Late payment via the tinternet

Afternoon Jane, if you get a chance could you process a payment for your last window clean - Friday 19.01.2018 thanks in advance, Glenn.

Hi, Cap'n Sparkle w-c will be calling tomorrow to clean your windows, many thanks, Glenn - as this is your first clean *Alison* would you please make sure that all windows are sealed tight shut as I want to give everything a really good scrub.

I don't bother with the gate thing on texts, if they have a gate they know that (It is after all their house) and I have a gate ladder

Really like the number next to name thingy mate.

Mine are all on rounds from week 1 to week 4 and A,B,C,D so now I'll just put the round next to the name so 4A or whatever.

Cheers for the idea.

Okay - here goes ...

"To all the customers on my round - please be advised that I shall no longer send texts prior to cleaning - I shall just tip up, ring the bell, clean your windows and leave a payment slip; if you don't like it then please find another more accommodating window cleaner."

It's a game of three halves!
