Under van rollers. Any good?
« on: February 20, 2018, 11:06:33 am »
Hi folks,
I've a Peugeot expert van, not the latest version, the one before. Has any fit under van hose rollers to there van? And are they any good? I'm looking at the blue ones that Grippamax sell. What do you reckon?

Haven't fitted under a van, but have used those blue rollers and they are complete rubbish and not up to the job.

I went with the rollers from the company
Water works.

They work very well. I can reel out in practically any direction. Just need to keep the rollers well oiled, but there not too expensive to replace, and it’s easy to do whenever they stop rolling.

Can’t fault the system.

Works really well, and I think it’s the best priced system out there. It’s great having the reels on top of the tank.

That tank could do with some baffeling added, but it’s nothing major.

Great after sales from Jordan too.

I bought 2 rollers a few days back with the intention of doing Basically exactly the same as this. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222568310600

Do you always disconnect or just trap the pole hose in the rear doors between jobs?

None what so ever, it works flawless. Reels in nicely, and makes my day so much easier.

Yeah I personally always disconnect.

If you use the small rectus fittings, then they would fit through the rollers and you could reel everything in, but I use the slick connect and that means it doesn’t fit through the rollers.

I just use a rubber door wedge to trap the hose inside the van if I’m driving a long distance, just in case it starts to spool off the reel as I’m
driving.
