Does anybody know if Space vac are still trading? I’ve rung a dozen times and left messages with no reply, no reply to email either?

Their website has been undergoing maintenance for a while now.

When they were on Mark Munro's window cleaning show last year but one, they were on doggy ground then unbeknown to those who placed orders with them. I took 2 of us a while to get our orders fulfilled. They weren't the best company to be dealing with tbh.

I don't know who supplies their poles but www.cleva-uk.com supplies their vacuum cleaners.

I don't know if this is any good?

Cheers  Spruce. That surprises me, I always found them pretty good to deal with before, seemed like a well run business, what little we sometimes know.

Cheers  Spruce. That surprises me, I always found them pretty good to deal with before, seemed like a well run business, what little we sometimes know.

The only dealing I had with them were when we (myself and another window cleaner in the Leeds area) were trying to get our systems that we ordered at the show. We got passed from pillar to post and the excuses for non delivery were pathetic.  The managing director who was arranging the delivery was never in to talk to. At the time I even commented to them (the lady who always answered the phone) that it sounds as though their business is going bust. I was assured they were part of a large organization that was funding their new business venture. (I can't remember the exact details but I believe the original business was in liquidation when they participated on the show which we only discovered later.)

Anyway, after my system eventually came in 2 shipments, I have had nothing more to do with them as Cleva would supply any filter requirements I would require.

Like Brodex, they were given an order and completely messed me around after having taken my money. They both had their chance and failed. I would have nothing more to do with either of them.  Once bitten, twice shy as the old saying goes. The cheek was that when the gutter vac was finally delivered I got a phone call from the never in MD asking me to give their system a favourable review. ;D

I also suggested to Mark Munro that he check out the financial and operating status of those who he invites to participate in his show. Imho this business should never have been on the show to begin with. Mark's response was that it wasn't his responsibility to do that.
So now if I attend a show in the future I will only be tempted to purchase from an exhibitor who I know, ie Grippatank, etc. or if I can buy something and take it away with me.
